Has anybody rehoused an Arion pedal ever?
Specifically the SAD-1?
Easy or pain in the butt?
Worth it or not?
I think this is a great delay pedal, seriously I love mine.
Thanks

Pain in the ass. It's all really fucking weird components so it's hard to move pots and such. Everything is plastic so it melts super easy as well

That's kind of what I had gathered.

Sure but it gets all melty.
Rehousing is doable, but a pain in the ass. About to do one of mine.

just buy a bunch of them and keep them in a shoebox ready for the one you are using to be break and be easily replaced.

I can with my laser. Not sure what it'd look like though.

I've got a couple of friends who already did it, adding a feedback footswitch and a second delay time knob/switch.
Unfortunately they told me that the circuit can be rehoused only in a big size box, like those of the Eau Claire Thunder, B:Assmaster etc.
Lovely pedal, anyways.

For the amount of work, hardly seems worth it IMO. I've had people ask me in the past to do them and I just flat out say no. I don't like to butt loads of work to make a cheap shitty effect look cool. LOL.
I mean, look at this.
Ridiculous. It's basically putting lipstick on a pig.
Though your lipstick looks good.

Has anyone modded an arion pedal for true bypass? Like, just stuck a 3PDT in the top like those TS9 mods? I'm not anti buffer but my arion phaser has shitty bypass

That's what I did. I put the whole pedal in this big box and put a tbp loop in it as well. You just have to make sure that the effect is left on when you put the board in the new box.
