Coming this fall. Price coming soon.
Pretty intrigued. The original Drone Commander eluded me, just as I saved up money they went out of production. Rarely do they sell used for a decent price and I don't feed scalpers.

Not seeing it. I can delete this thread. Sorry, was excited. Was re-checking price on the DC2 standalones and stumbled upon this.
I agree the ammo can was a great aesthetic. I had plans of stacking it with my RE501 at one point, obviously never happened.

I don't think it's in the 2017 thread, but if it is, it doesn't matter. Lots of items have their own dedicated threads.

Wish it had audio in sync too. The DC1 didn't either.
Pedalboard? This might push me into a real tabletop setup. Or a pedalboard for my hands instead of my feets if you want to be reductive.

Hmmmm I really hope they can make it so external audio doesn't switch the osc off. Guess it could be easily fixed w a bypass loop or a mixer, but you wouldn't be able to process your guitar or whatever w the LFO.
Either way I'm gonna buy one.

Also too lazy to edit.
This is gonna end up a tabletop piece for me for sure, just read the manual. This would be sick w the eurorack. Set all ya drums and leads up and make a sick drone synced with all of it. Yessssssss!

But the GAS thread gets so much churn that things can get lost easily. It's great that you created a thread for this, much easier to keep track of.
The draft manual confirms the option of squarewave or TRIANGLE waveforms for each oscillator!

Looks like their facebook page is the best source for up-to-date info? If they have a presence on IG, twitter, etc, then I haven't found it yet.

What is the point of putting this in a pedal format?

Picked up an original ammo can one couple of weeks ago and ^THIS^ has been my life since. However, don't plan on having a rock solid clock from it, it wavers if you even look at it funny, and when you change speed it goes totally mental (randomly super fast to super slow) for about 30seconds before calming to the new speed. Personally, I love that as a feature, but can see how people would be annoyed by it.
Eric told me this new pedal one is basically a total re-make of the original with the addition of the audio in and mute switch..... so don't expect anything to be 'fixed' as such.
