A red knob mod sounds likely, I'm betting it has an increased depth/rate on the modulation and LOUDER/cleaner repeats.

To be fair you can get more noise and weirdness out of his stuff than most pedals.

Joel seems to like challenges. His first, what, three pedals were modulation pedals, almost as if he was just trying to take the first one and get established by altering the modulation.

But the last three have all been something different: The Ayawhateverythefuckyoucallit, the delay and the Brothers.

I predict something different than the first six but something in the same vein of analog but digital control. So not pitch shift or anything like that. Maybe it is fucking ring mod.

Ok the RKM thing does throw me—I didn't notice that either. But the pic's obviously a Tonal Recall in the foreground, with what looks like a modded red-knob in the background... red matches the color palette in the background, and he's done this sort of upgrade-marked-by-knob-color-change in the past with the Spectre. I'd be really surprised if it were anything else. Maybe he's being a cheeky bastard though.

I also think I see a jack input on the one in the background, which probably means that it processes some type of signal.
