Anyone grab or check out the new Bill Orcut solo record? The 2 or so tracks I've heard on WMBR and online I really like. I prefer his noisier recent stuff but it's cool to hear him playing more accessible music. I'm definitely gonna pick it up soon.

Really love Bill, everything he's ever done has been interesting and he's such an intimidatingly creative guitarist. This new album is particularly weird relative to him in that it's a lot more harmonic and traditionally listenable, and it's really nice to hear him try something a little different.

Bill Orcut released a compilation of OOP tracks on bandcamp for "name your price" aka free or a few dollars, it's a really good intro to his solo work and 1 or 2 Harry Pussy tracks too.

If you like weirder stuff check out his track with Okkyung Lee on said comp, my house mate plays with her and it's pretty awesome stuff.
