Synths! (& more)
There hasn't been much revealed this year, in terms of keyboards. Each of the 3 major trade shows, thus far, only had one notable hardware synth. For Winter NAMM, it was the Prophet REV2. The Quantum from Waldorf was the talk of Musikmesse, and finally the keyless Novation Peak garnered a lot of the discussion from Superbooth.
Eurorack continues to grow and there was no shortage of new modules at any of this year’s trade shows. This list is by no means conclusive, but it will give you some idea of just how many synths, samplers, drum machines, and modules have been on display this year.
Some of these are already available for purchase, and some are still under development. A few debuted last year, but are still undergoing cosmetic and functional adjustments.

Summer NAMM (Nashville) July 13-15
expectations/speculations: 2 new offerings from Alexander
new basses from Supro (confirmed)
possibly a new offering from a Chase Bliss
new OBNE? They've already hinted at a desire to launch more pedals this year, so will Summer NAMM be serving as a coming-out party for these new devices?
I feel pretty safe in estimating 1-2 new pedals from EQD. They have used Summer NAMM as a launching pad several times in the past (Dunes + Tentacle + Interstellar Orbiter 2015, Aferneath + Arrows 2014, Depths + Arpanoid 2013, and so forth). I also know they have more DSP offerings planned for this year, so we'll see if one of them is ready by mid-July. Otherwise, expect a fall release prior to the holiday shopping season.
Summer NAMM tends to be pretty light on synth releases and with Musikmesse & Superbooth becoming the premier trade destinations, I don't expect anything from the big 3 in Japan (Yamaha, Korg, Roland), but you never know. Roland would be especially surprising, since they just unveiled the SE-02. With Korg being quiet on the trade circuit, I would imagine their next big unveiling will be late fall or late-January of next year, with Winter NAMM (Los Angeles) setting the tone for the upcoming year.
There are several products that have already been previewed, but we've yet to hear/see a finished production model. Here are some of them:
Source Audio Ventris
Dwarfcraft Curse
Dwarfcraft Grazer
Red Panda Tensor
Binson Echorec by T-Rex
Replicator Jr by T-Rex
unnamed Eventide pedal
viewtopic.php?f=149&t=55116
WMD Geiger Counter Pro
Walrus Fathom reverb
Zvex Vibrophase (pedal version of the Candela, was supposed to hit stores in April)
post-NAMM guesstimates/thoughts:
a new Moog product: with the Minimoog D being discontinued, the MF-107, MF-105, and MF-104 out of production, could Moog debut a new product this year? They actually have a dedicated iOS team now, so perhaps we could also see the next Moog app to complement the Model 15 and Animoog.
late-2017: better demos and final pricing for the Waldorf Quantum
first pics/demos of the Thorpy FX-Dan Coggins (ex-Lovetone engineer) collaboration
3Q/4Q: new EQD pedals sharing the Avalanche's DSP platform
pricing/demos for the Digitana (UK) Halia desktop digital synth. No one's been talking about this, but it's a small digital synth that's supposed to run the gamut of synthesis.

Yep, I'm going too! Stop by and say hello!
Potential tip for ILF'ers: None of us builders know who the hell anybody is based on your REAL names, so feel free to introduce yourself as <usernym> from <forum.> Attendees on Thursday / Friday wear badges but that's not usually helpful as they only have your given and family names on them.
I know I have relationships with several of you guys here and some on TGP, so it's really nice to be able to associate names with faces.
See you there!

A buddy of mine found this pic of what seems to be a new super looper by EHX
unless my google-fu is terrible I can't find any info on it. Hoping it's something cool like a souped up Boomerang and not just a one channel looper with, like, a bunch of reverbs on it or something

Thanks for sharing. That looks like Reggie Watts. He would be one of the first people to beta-test a new EHX looper.

Always exciting to see new entries into the looper world. Looks like it has MIDI too. Really hoping that's three/four loops, a dedicated stop button then an effects button for things like half speed etc.

no Boss and Behringer
That EHX looper is the only thing I'm really excited about!
