Anyone have any experience (heh) with one of these? The price is right and my fuzz factory just isnt doing it for me, so i was gonna be an extra mega cheap ass and flip it for one. I really dig sound clips online, and I like how it reacts with a volume knob. Just would dig some other fuzzbreux input.

They're really not bad, especially if you're into Fuzz Faces. I still wanna check out the Band of Gypsys one.

Yea, the BOG one looks insane. Like a really gnarly flavor of fuzz face. Cool tho, good to hear they're solid. Really wanna see what happens when I push one with the Fuck.

Hahaha CARD REVOKED.
I love Fuzz Faces, but I will say that even the most abrasive one is not even close to the potential face-peeling craziness of a Fuzz Factory. While I do like said craziness, I much prefer the Fuzz Face, just because I kinda tend to gravitate towards psych-y things vs noisy things (and yeah there's overlap between those two poles covered by either fuzz, but they're pretty distinctly opposed). And I'll always be the hugest fan of having it in awesome OD territory around 8-9 with the guitar knob, then turn it up all the way if you wanna take off
I feel like the first part of that paragraph made zero sense. I am tired. But yep, wanna know what you think when you pick up the mini!

I'm with pop on this, I have a full size one and I love it to death. It's warm and fuzzy like a woolly mammoth and has a healthy amount of mids. From the demos I've heard on YT, the mini sounds almost exactly the same, and the mini is a better choice for a pedal board. Go for it, dude.

Also, that turquoise-y blue they're using now is so good, I kinda wanna buy one of the minis just for that

hang on, despite the stupid "Authentic HENDRIX" branding...
demos sound splendid!
anyone tried a BoG IRL?

Yeah, if you can see behind the inherent cheesiness of the presentation, they're really great pedals, especially for the price. I haven't played the BoG, but I've played the previous version red and blue minis. Both were great.

So I got to my local GC where waltdogg works, traded in a bunch of stuff, had walt set up my strat, used the trade cash to do that, get strings and get this.
Its the only one they had in stock, and I didn't wanna wait for them to order the Hendrix. Heard good things about this one, demos sound sweet, and its more consistent than germanium. Will report back with my thoughts + sound demos.

I have a Roger Mayer Classic (the blue one in the rocket enclosure, ge FF). It's so fuckin cool in the big stupid enclosure but it sounds too much like my creepyface, but with less of a big mid-scoop sound at full blast. I had one of the red Dunlop Ge FFs but I flipped it before I got my head round how best to use Ge FFs (run them into amp-like dirt to compress them a bit. Si FFs are ok on their own ime but Ge needs something compressing it). I love big box fuzzes but nothing sounds/feels as good as Brad's Creepy Fingers builds (which is why I bought the 1-knob fuzz he posted on IG at the weekend

).
