Abject monstrosity. Neither t shirt nor Oxford. I have to wear one today to be a part of the 'team,' and I feel like I should be eating a turkey leg on-the-bone or defrauding taxpayers to the tune of millions of dollars.

Mandatory higher education joke.
I don't get that worked up about clothing.

I work at a private college, so our criminality is masked behind layers of legislation, thank you much.

Man, I've gone on and on about this in the group what'sapp chat. DD wears them. He says it's to trick 'the man' into giving him money, but he seems awfully defensive about it.
Here's my copypasta:
"But polo shirts...IDK. they're that in between that just doesn't work. It's too fancy for casual and too casual for fancy. An in limbo piece of clothing. They look idiotic tucked in and you'll look like a slob with them untucked."
It's a lose - lose situation.

Yes, yes they are. They're just t-shirts that pretend to be shirts when worn under a sweater or something. Ugh.

I wear polo shirts sometimes to wait tables. The uniform requirement at work is just "collared shirt" so theyre good in the summer.
And I tuck them in.
What's the consensus on short sleeved button up shirts?

It's a fucking piece of garment. Fred Perry makes nice ones. Also Lacoste. And Ralph Lauren.

You sounds like DD and it doesn't suit you (much like polo shirts on any human body)

I actively avoid wearing shirts whenever possible.
