Youp.

Right now I'm just going iPad > MS-20 Mini (MS as controller for apps), but I plan on sending MIDI clock from the iPad to a Pocket Piano and an OP-1 in addition to using the MS as a controller still.

So, I need like a little MIDI thingy that accepts USB MIDI in from the iPad and which then again can pass on and receive MIDI signals to at least three units (MS-20 to send and receive via USB, OP-1 to receive via USB input, Pocket Piano to receive via normal MIDI input).

Does that make sense? I'm a MIDI noob. HALP. Educate me.

If that's all you wasn't to do this:

Would work
Edit: never mind, I thought the OP-1 and midi ins and outs.
Edit again:
This should work

USB hub and the MIO or another decent USB MIDI thing? (Generic eBay one let me down, which seems to be a common experience. So I have a Roland UM-One on order. https://www.roland.com/us/products/um-one/ ) I don't have a good idea how well an iPad will juggle multiple USB MIDI connections, though.
