Received one of these from a mastering client for a recent project:

Finally got it all running with my existing ES-8 switcher, and I can say the Decibel11 expander is a solid little box with one caveat: the midi thru is bitchy. To get it to work (and pass the MIDI out to the ES-8 editor), had to go with a Midi Solutions splitter - if I was just using it in line with other normal MIDI stuff I'd have put it at the end of the chain and not cared.

That complaint aside, it sounds good, it's dumb-simple to set up for what MIDI channel it uses and whether it's running in program or individual pedal mode, and is small.

I wanted something for a few pedals that I kept after my Boss ES-8 and the 9 movable loops there, and it fit the bill admirably.

Now the Space Echo and CE-2W and bitcrusher and player to be named later are living in happy post-ES-8 harmony.

Assuming you're already using MIDI for things, it's damn inexpensive if you have to pay cash ($140ish street), and I could see integrating it into a keyboard rig very, very easily (even if one isn't using a MIDI pedalboard for the rest!).
