Hog 2 controller with Hog V1?

Anyone know if you can use the Hog 2 preset controller with the V1 HOG?
Bump. I believe the answer is no, as I think I was told years ago when GASing for a HOG that the actual memory is in the HOG and not the preset controller.
But I'm also very curious about this. And technology has gone some distance since so... Anyone?
