Long story short I got a little bear T-7 tube phomo preamp, it is okay but dammit it doesn't have a volume knob. The lack of a volume knob is driving me nut sacks. Looking at something like the Marantz 7 M7 kit.

This but with a rotary switch to select between inputs. Also stuffed into a cool etched/printed pedal enclosure.
Who is doing custom builds on ILF?? I have sent a few PM's but the folks I contacted aren't doing one off builds at the moment.

So I guess the real issue is the input switch? Something like those red Bellari tube phono stages would work well (level knobs for output and phones), but would be missing that one ingredient. I'm guessing you're wanting to have one phono stage for two turntables? Might be able to solve that problem with a simple RCA A/B switch before the phono pre
