Just curious about peoples' "forever peds," the pedal that captures your telos. On a side note, the Germans were really weird about the telos of human beings. They felt that it had to boil down to one (often enormously complicated and densely packed) concept. For Kant, human telos is morality; Hegel, freedom; Nietzsche, power; Schmidt, war; etc. I was going to say a lot more but cbf.
ANYWHO, my forever ped is the Infanem Driving Notion. I dunno, this thing just survives every purge, every reshuffling. It's the one pedal that never leaves my board. There's just some magic to the way the driving notion interacts with a Jaguar.

DL4 has definitely been on my board the longest, and I don't intend to get rid of it any time soon. Next up would probably be Count to Five. I'm on my third CT5 and I won't be flipping this one when something else cool comes up!

Prolly the metalzone. Not worth the hassle of selling for just $22.

My Effector 13 Super Tri Fuzz modded to have a built in always on Karaoke Party circuit. While I am sure the way I use it can be replicated texturally... the amount of saturation, it's oscillation characteristics, and sustain just works for me. I am most expressive when I am plugged into that thing.

AD9. My first nice pedal. I've used it heavily in every band I've been in. Sounds wonderful, and the way it looks/feels makes me happy. Hot pink chunk.
2nd place: Ct5. I feel like it lives in its own little world.

LAL 88 Super Oscillo. All day everyday.
MASF Raptio is probably 2nd.
And also:

Neither is a "pedal" and both combined are my base preamp (and I have two of the GL-100s now):
Roland Space Echo (preamp as much as the echo!)
Boss GL-100 preamp (2 channels of vintage MIJ Boss analog goodness)
I could say the Test Pattern from Hell, but it's not *always* there, and I haven't been using it for twenty+ years.

I honestly can say I have zero pedals that I could not live without. Now, my Mesa amp on the other hand? I'd be super unhappy playing without that.
If I had to chose a pedal I use the absolute most, it'd have to be the Darkglass B7K or Darkglass Duality. I honestly use the Duality more than anything else. It's just the pefect fuzz for me.
