Miss my bass vi a lot. So instead of buying one I wanna slap ont together. I have a squier bronco that I plan on throwing a squier bass vi neck on. The question is does anyone know if the neck pocket will work???!

You could change the bridge and drill the headstock for new tuners.

Squier Bronco Bass - 19 frets
Squier Bass VI - 21 frets
Not going to work without serious body modification.

It's been done a bunch of time before. Not breaking new ground.

OP will have to modify the body. The question was if the neck pockets are compatible and they are not as the necks are not interchangeable between instruments. The Bronco neck on a stock Bass VI body will be too short. The Bass VI neck on a stock Bronco body will be too long.

I rarely see Bass IV necks by themselves. There are a few threads about making your own out of a Bronco and another about using a Danelectro 30" scale neck on a standard tele body.
