Looking For A Specific Pedal Builder

I know this is going to be a long shot! Several years ago I came across a pedal builder that built made-to-order pedals, a few types including fuzz. He also included a couple of ways to mod the pedal if you wanted. The thing I remember most about his work is that his wife hand painted each pedal. Her work was absolutely beautiful and if I remember correctly, she painted trees and flowers on them. She simply made the pedals a work of art. I have searched Google for hours several times looking for something...anything! There are so many "bigger named" boutique line builders out now that it gets in the way of the search. If I saw one of his pedals I could probably identify it. And the sound clips on his web page were very impressive! If you have a clue........

Only company that comes to mind is Fuzzrocious. His wife (and sometimes their kids) paints the pedals.

When VFE started, Peter's wife drew/painted the artwork on their pedals, but that doesn't quite sound like the artwork she used to draw.

EAR electronics maybe? They're friends of mine. The pedals are mainly Madbean circuits, but the enclosures are beautiful.

Are you thinking of the M.O.T.H. we posted a couple weeks ago with the cherry blossoms and moth image?

Many thanks for your help! Alas....none of these are them. I really wish I had more info to mention. Only thing additionally I can think of is that I was looking at these around the mid-'90s. I fear that since I can't hunt a name/image of one online....probably just as hard to find one for sale!

I'll keep searching, though......

Mid '90s?! That simultaneously narrows the field way down AND makes it way more difficult.

When you say trees and flowers, two people come to mind. There was an artist, who went by Paint Parade (Sharlet Thompson) and worked with Catalinbread for a time.

There's also Laura Bennett, who has lent her services to Caroline, Keeley, Fuzzhugger, and Zvex, among others. I don't think you would have seen their work before the early 2000s though.

Ryan & Tanya (Dr. Scientist) have produced some floral designs over the years and they would fit the criterion as a husband-and-wife team, but again, the 1990s timeline isn't going to work. If you found a builder between 1994-1997, who was doing customs, that would be insanely difficult to find again. That would mean the stuff was advertised on Angelfire or Geocities (stuff that's likely been purged from the Web for 10+ years).
