I'm gonna go ahead and get a jump on this topic before Comesect does.

Looks like it's gonna be called the Exit Index. :idk:
Coming out this Fall to coincide with Grooms' new album (I think one of the members works/worked at DBA or it's just that they're friends with them or something).

I'm surprised they posted such a detailed image of the circuit board before the actual release of the thing based on their tendency to get cloned or sorta educated guessed cloned so quickly.

Consider me intrigued though, I want to hear it.

Yeah, I don't know. Maybe because it's still difficult to make out the chip that's probably doing all the legwork? :idk:
So far, the only thing I can see is the TL074 and LT1054, and I still have a feeling that this is a PWM or something like that.

It's probably gonna be something like the last one was (which I think was limited to ~300?).

There are no traces, and the two chips I can make out are as stated a quad opamp and the LT1054, which might be a charge pump, but maybe not.
Dino or someone might be able to make a much better guess than me based on the number of resistors and caps and shit, but I still can't see this harming their business. If anything people can stop complaining about the total shit layouts, inconsistent soldering and spidery thin traces on their pcbs
And it's a white pcb which is good because toan.

The resistors are labeled on the resistors, and the caps are mostly visibly labeled on the board. I doubt it will actually harm the business. But I can't think of one modern pedal company more cloned and pseudo cloned than them.

fact.

Has there been any other news on this thing?

It is funny they labeled all the parts on the PCB. Like, here you go guys! Clone away!

Doing the stomp on the pcb is not smart though. That's the signal most failed part I've ever run across. So to be smart, they ought to attach it from one smaller board just for the stomp to the pcb of the circuit via either a ribbon or wires. Just some food for thought if you read this DBA. ;)

these mid-sized companies should just employ one guy to just stick footswitches on daughterboards all day
