If I was twenty years younger, yea.
I just have most of the stuff in said pedals in various old rack effects and oddballs.
I'd add the Roland GR-55 myself - between the vGuitar fake instruments and on the fly per string alternate tunings and the synth engines (which are actually controllable and programmable for the first time in guitar-synth land since the analog days versus generic "this is Piano 2" and you're stuck with it).
It was the only *new* thing to actually change what and how I worked after 20 years of playing.

This unassuming blue box is without doubt the most consistently popular niche guitar effect, and its presence on a 'board is a pretty reliable indicator that a player has spent some time poring over online forums.

I mean, kudos to the author for pouring over 13 pages of dick jokes and drama here to actually ascertain what the fuck we nerds are using this shit for.
TL;DR: my boner.

What I was expecting: Kline, Timmy, strymonz, blooze lawyer
What it was: pretty cool list. Idk if the author has never used the pedals or just over simplified their descriptions.

Yeah, positively surprised by that list. I could add stuff like the Possessed or the Noise Swash, but the author already put examples of glitch pedals and oscillating fuzzes on there, so yeah. Yeah.

BONER FACTS
- The word boner has been used in 2372 (now 2373 posts)
- The first time the term "my boner" was used was in 2010 following the announcement of the FuzzHugger(fx) Chalice fuzz
- That honor goes to Gunner Recall, who was the second person to use the word boner at all on the forum
This has been another edition of Boner Facts, brought to you by viewers like you.

I'd say the Roland GR-55 doesn't so much change the way you approach playing the guitar as it does make your solos sound like a midi saxophone. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Considering that's not how I use it, nope.
Two programmable PCM synths on a per-string basis, plus dedicated actual guitar and vGuitar out, with alternate tuning on a per-string basis.
If it was a generic saxophone, I'd have shipped it back the day I bought it.
