First, I really love the standard (dual-mode) Arc Flash, and hope most people (all people) grab one!
SO, if it wasn't for how crazy versatile the oscillation mode is in the (tri-mode) Arc Flash Oscillator, I wouldn't be rushing to make this available.

Again, the standard Arc Flash is THE Arc Flash. It's been getting really great reactions from users so far...it's ridiculously versatile, quick to dial-in, and in a tiny enclosure. It's also slightly lower noise than the Arc Flash Oscillator.

But the Arc Flash Oscillator is for the oscillation junky! The AFO's oscillation is very different than the AB-Synth's oscillation (remember, the AB-S wasn't designed for "traditional" oscillation, but more unusual stutters, blips, and fat octave down)...the AFO covers some more traditional oscillation but with a very wide range (and therefore not as easy to dial in as the AB-Synth's oscillation). You'll find drones, squeals, heavily filtered sound settings, some pretty stable octave down.

Footswitch one turns the pedal on/off (no bleedthrough when off!).
The toggle switches between the AF's two modes (and also switches the sweep of the Gain control)

I only played the oscillation mode in the demo, but I should say that the "normal" Arc Flash part of the pedal is t-a-s-t-y!

Turning the Gain clockwise, the basic mode has a chunky boost all the way to a grand, uplifting fuzz. Then switching on the high gain starts you off with a raspy overdrive and ends up with a fantastic splatter.

...And then there's the oscillation.

It's a Germanium fuzz, so it's got some throat. A great great pedal IMHO.

Basically, except yours is wired so the Groundswell is a part of the oscillation circuit. But yes, that's what's up!

well i hope so. bon chance. i still need to get the Fuzzhugger Wolf Computer first. that is a priority. i look forward to getting this & the Dark Boost though.
