Chorus peds

So the Mrs and I are working on a project where she plays ukelele and I play guitar, we will add a friend on drums once we get some songs more dialed. I really think some chorus will help get me to the almost synthy vibes that I want. I've been using modulated delay and reverb, but that limits my playing a bit.

I'm looking at the boss waza, cosmichorus, julia, or waiting for the next batch of generation losses (not really a chorus, but I loved my first one and know it can do what I'm looking for). Anything else people love? I don't really need something too fancy, I just don't want to be disappointed. Don't need craziness, just maximum lush.

This thread interests me greatly, though i think I'll probably end up getting a cheaper 80-90's chorus like the arion stereo chorus.

I bought a dod ice box for like $30 shipped or something. It sounds like a chorus, no complaints here
:idk:

That's what I'm talking about. Hadn't heard of it, but looks rad and has the proper old chip that'll bring that rich sound. I'm going to wait a little for other suggestions, but this just became the front runner.

I have this, got it based on name only, now it sits mostly unused... sounds amazing though, many tonal possibilities I haven't heard in other chorus pedals. Also dig the 10-series Ibanez ones, like the Super Stereo or Twin Cam.

Doesn't look like the ice box has a power supply input. Am I missing something or do I need one of those 9 volt battery adapters?

Most dod used a different power supply than the boss ones. Like that 1/8in plug style.

Alternatively, step up your game and get the DOD Ice-It 2x8" Chorus Amp
Image They go for like $40-60

Yeah another vote for cheapo Japanese boxes from the 80s or 90s.

Shitty box and bypass aside -- the Dano Fab Chorus is amazing. Lately I've been looking for a cheap Small Clone to mod...

The Boss CE-3 is cheap and nice (and will likely survive you). Works as a vibrato too, which is a cool bonus.
