Is there an effect that will emulate cassette flutter?

For an example, here is one of my tracks: https://soundcloud.com/admbmb/be-kind-rewind

or listen to a real warped cassette here at 6:50 : https://youtu.be/L5GEEGOfaTA?t=6m50s

I have many ways to emulate that faster tape warble in software, but no pedal or hardware effects to get that sound. I have tried Warped Vinyl MK1&2, Cooper FX Generation Loss, Strymon Mobius, Zvex Instant Lofi Junky and countless others. Those are all rad pedals, but none get that tapey scrape flutter.

Love to hear any suggestions!

If you want to go all in: Seppuku FX Kompakt Kassette

or Ezhi&Aka - The Tape

I feel like with the tape crinkle and wow & flutter controls on the el cap maybe you can get what you want. I can give it a shot and post it somewhere

I'm looking for exactly the same thing. The Seppuku seems to be best bet, although the el cap will do pretty much this anyhow.

Also if anyone has a line on a Tape+ lemme know. I'll buy it up and give the person who let me know a surprise gift in return.

That would be great! I have never owned this pedal and am curious how it does. How is the latency on "full wet"?

Got a sounds that I feel is pretty close. Latency in lowest time is pretty short. Guitars or synths?

EDIT: well I made one with guitar. A little bit of string noise and at the end I added some light overdrive and EQ from the elements which I think is pretty important for accuracy. https://instagram.com/p/BQ3QeTJhD5l/

Both if possible! Can it go slow as well?

I think (from what I've heard) the new fairfield is gonna be a flutter beast. the current offerings you listed seem to be more into emulating the 'wow' and not so much 'flutter'

I'll do one with an op-1 or sk-5 or something after dinner :)

Here is the upcoming Fairfield (Shallow Water?) for reference:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2PkQe ... JFS00/view

I will be curious to learn how it interacts with synths & samples, as opposed to guitar.

El cap with sk-5 doing a few settings. First clean, then two different settings with maxed tape crinkle and just two different settings on the tape age (basically darkness) and wow&flutter. Then a. It how tape crinkle affects it.

Really sucky and simple video but oh well https://instagram.com/p/BQ3qZ4rBjdj/

Tbh tho, I'd say the generation loss does it better. But the el cap does other things so idk

I would think the Strymon El Capistan or Deco would be your best bet
