B.O.B's this does that. Meng Qi Rollz-5

Heyo, guess I'll start a new one of these.

Here's a Montreal Assembly Goodbye 24 modulated by three sources at once. Using my Pittsburgh Modular Patch Box I've got two Roland EV-5 expression pedals each dialed to cover a different range, along with the guitar/gb24 signal through a Detekt envelope follower all patched to modulate the GB24 at the same time. First is the GB24 on its own, then I patch in the envelope follower. Finally patch in both EV-5 expression pedals. This was a lot more fun with the pedals on the floor using my feets, but havn't figured out a decent way to set up my camera for those exotic angles,

So, wait, am I supposed to refer to you now as "UncleRectalB.o.B.father" or something?

 guess i'm kinda partial to UncleRectalB.O.Bfilter

Might as well put these here too, first foray into using CV with pedals started with my Big Metal Judder. Just to familiarize with how a regular expression pedal worked with the Judder found a good match with a Roland EV-5, and discovered a cool kinda digital glitchy thing shown here

Then tried using the CV out from one channel of a Koma Kommander with the Big Metal Judder, making adjustments to the trimpot throughout here.

But hey, Koma Kommander has two independent channels of CV...so patched those both through a voltage controlled crossfader being modulated by an envelope follower of my playing to control the Judder...used another module to regulate the combined CV down to a safe 0-3V range.

The new vids are sounding great no matter what you're calling yourself these days! :!!!: :thumb:

Dear, UncleB.O.B.smogger,

I have a couple requests for covers. Could you possibly do a cover of this with your Plumbutter thing, please?

Also, I think you need to cover this one (don't know what gear you'd use for that):

Obviously, they won't be traditional covers (unless you wanna go all out), more like loose interpretations.

Thank you,
Chankgeez

in the meantime here's a listen to the Plumbutter 2 doing other things. Think this was brown to green and blue things

This was mixing even/odd Rolls browns through Ultrasound beat things...picked up radio interference from the 4 Roll/Ultrasound patch

Ok, I went with loose interpretations. To be fair, when I first read your post I was on my old ipad, it just shows me that sad red face in youtube links and leads to the "oh no not supported anymore" so I didn't have any clue what I was interpreting...but I did my best :)

aaaaaaand, here's a listen to the CIat-Lonbarde Deerhorn Organ, unpatched. This thing is nuts, triple theremin ciat style.

Annnnd, here's a listen to the Ieaskul F. Mobenthey Mocante. I guess its a crossover between the Tocante touch synths and IFM eurorack family. Nixes the solar panel/internal battery and speaker, but has multiple signal outputs from its different touch sections. Also has a master pitch knob that is CV-able with an attenuverter, and one of the outs can also be an in...but havn't gotten that far. So, before I hooked it into the euro I recorded how its various outs sound on their own Tocante style.

heyo, got around to hooking up the IFM Mocante to the euro. Here's a looksee at the pretty neat results from touching unpatched Mr. Grassi and Mocante at the same time. Just Mocante controlling a Denum with its Triangle CV/Gate, mixed with the other 3 audio outs of Mocante...for the most part.

Well, after exploring the Ieaskul F. Mobenthey Mocante touch controller on its own, then with Mr. Grassi as the IGM Keyboard I finally got around to seeing how well it would work controlling Plumbutter. Touching the Triangle's outputs CV and Gate, and sure enough the Gate would trigger all the modules on Plumbutter. Just started with a pretty simple patch, Mocante Triangle CV/Gate into an AVDog, with one of its outs triggering a Gongue that's triggering the other AVDog which is triggering the other Gongue. Patched the Mocante Witches-Tones into the Ultrasound. Wanted to run the Mocante Square Drone out through the AUX inputs on a couple of the Plumbutter's modules so it could be processed by the Plumbutter modules...needed to use a passive mult and a couple stereo y-adaptors to make it happen. One is into the Deerhorn AUX which acts like a kinda stereo crossfader in this application. So, the Square Drone's come through left/right channel from the "push/pull" theremin action. Other was into the Gongues, so it could be filtered by both Gongues in stereo. Just go through each module here to show how they were getting on together.
