i hated on Wavves like everybody else but then i listened to it & its not half bad. i really like his weird-ass singing voice & i think it is cool he sings about pizza and skateboarding and the california 'bros.
i think it is the best of all that lofi tape-label music stuff.

i think they are strongly influenced by (or rip off) Further, a 90s california indie band that nobody remembers.
