got an hof mini coz reasons, mainly to get a full sized delay and still fit everything on my pt-nano. i'm looking for something to pretty much turn on right at the end of a song or during a pause in a song to have a bunch of nonsensical modulation going for a few seconds. anyways ive been fucking with a dd-3 and dd-7 at work, they definitely can do what i'm looking for. but theyre cookie cutter as fuck. also stereo outs is nice, sometimes i use two amps when i can and cant fit my aby AND a delay pedal on my board.

a "broken" sound would be an apt description i think. i'm going to be running a fuck at the beginning of my chain, so the crackle and sputtering is going to hit the delay and get repeated and garbled up. if you're familiar with the dd-3 or dd-7, i was setting the first three parameters to about 3 o'clock then the delay time to ridiculously short on the dd-3 and to analog on the dd-7. i liked the dd-7 a bit more, but i really liked just stacking them lol. this is probably the only thing i'd be using the pedal for.

Bitquest delay on the fuzz setting for grittier repeats. Clean for fucked up bleep bloops. Also meets your reverb needs, gives you space for one more pedal.

Bit Quest is definitely awesome and would be cool for turning in during pauses and whatever but may not be what you're looking for.
Guitarist in These Arms Are Snakes//Narrows uses a DL-4 to do, in my head, what you're talking about. Downside is that I think the DL4 is too big for your board and overkill with all the other shit it can do.

Ibanez ES-2 is also really sick for this. Mine is set to oscillate and just for the in between parts.

I like this idea. I have an spot on my board, might throw something in just for this purpose

Fuck cookie cutter, DD-7s are mad value for money. I've had 3 of them.
The stereo requirement is the kicker, there's so many great mono pedals, but I'd have to say El Cap I reckon. Such a ripper delay pedal, will do everything and hen some.

damn the ibanez one is enticing.
good to know. as for stereo outs, it's a plus but not a requirement.

*sorry*
Also in for delay: Is the DD-7 "the best" of the small Boss pedals?

If you can afford the board space, the DD-20 is still a wonderful delay... Full of tricks and relatively inexpensive.

This.
and what about a MidFi Deluxe Pitch Pirate? I've never played one, but it can do weird delay-type things
