I bought a Metal Zone on a whim.

I have to report that I actually like the thing as, well, a metal distortion.

It's not subtle. It's not pretty. It has the street cred of Vanilla Ice.

But for < $50...it zones the fuck out of metal.

you only go to pedal hell when you have 180 in the bank and you just put a bid on a dope pedal for 200 +

I'd just tap line of credit at that point, but I generally don't do auctions, I'd rather just buy outright.

The MT-2 has exactly ONE setting that I liked. And from what I can see in your picture you pretty much dialed in that same setting.

The purple one I could see...hmm...but then I'd want an actual Klon because purple.

And we'll see what additional settings I can find, that was my first bit of screwing around.

Yeah I wanna get one for eq purposes.

But I'm curious to see if there are good heavy settings in there as well.
I mean it's a boss pedal, even the least redeeming of them have at least one saving grace.

Scoop the mids and put it into a GE-7 with scooped mids. Trust me.

Had one that famously got modded by skully and passed around to a few other people here. It had too much mids and not enough balls.
