Has anyone ever exhibited there before? I think I'm going to this next year (winter, 2010) and have LOTS of questions.
Malekko folk, I'm looking in your direction...
Such as: Insurance. Some shit about workers comp and liability and all that. I don't have that. I have ME, and volounteers. LIke my wife.
Shared space. Seems like a good idea, financially anyway. But with whom from ILF??!?!?

EVERYBODY!!!!!
Or at least Tom D. And Devi. And Newark Wilder. And Bobby D.
How 'bout a general I Love Fuzz half of the booth? We could all chip in $5 to pay for it...

an I LOVE FUZZ booth, with exhibitors from all the COLLECTIVE from here, would be beyond awesome.
you guys and gals would all ROCK the NAMM show. you would be the most EPIC display of pedals in the WHOLE SHOW.
NAMM would be PWNT by the ILF crew.
seriously.
if you all want to do it, it would be truly EPIC to have one big booth with ALL the builders from here displaying their warez.

i like the idea of this indie pedal collective just taking NAMM by storm, and having all these freaky people and pedals IN ONE BOOTH.
all the best things are collectives.
and if you all split the expenses, everybody could afford to do it!

Shee-it - not to be all altruistic and crap, but I'd paypal in ten bucks or so if it got you closer to the fee... how much does this kind of booth rental cost? Is it the kind of thing that the iLF forum could hypothetically help fund without breaking our individual banks?

how much is a booth?
an ILF booth would be epic.
What if we all made one gigantor ILF pedalboard?!
a shared booth would be great because it would be cheaper and i know if i got in on it i would only need like 3 square feet of it.

I second the notion of a gigantor ILF board. Could you imagine every ilf pedal on one board? And letting people demo them?

if ILF gets a booth, they can get "visitor" passes issued to some of those who want to go, i am not sure how many each booth gets, but i am sure that some of the ILF faithful can get in -- and maybe we can do a little social engineering
as far as the business potential -- it's THERE, but NAMM is a real straight up the middle affair in some ways. HOWEVER, i think the ILF booth, if done WELL and sort of left of center and funky, might end up being the most talked about thing at the show, and maybe get some serious press. even if it's just MMR reporting and printing photos of "all those freaky kids and their weird pedals"
on the up side, there ARE a lot of indie stores that go to NAMM, and maybe you can write some orders and get some dealers, if you want that.
Anaheim would be best.......
i'll wear spandex one day of the show IF there is an ILF booth
