That's a super rad synth, obviously, but it's indeed about as luxurious a purchase there is. Almost absurd to buy one of those considering the Voyager can be had for less and has presets.

I mean don't get me wrong...if I had 3.5k to blow :D

Naw, I'm still fawning over the Mother 32 and the Sub 37 to really care about the Model D. Call me blasphemous, I don't care. :snax:

I tried an original "Model D" at last year's Musikmesse in Frankfurt. I realized that I adore the recordings of musicians playing the Minimoog and I love the sound, but I didn't like to play it personally at all. It didn't feel like instant love. All those clunky knobs ... no ADSR (huh, what?!) and some other features missing ... I was almost shocked! I only really liked the Minimoog Voyager Old School and I hope that I can purchase one in the next years.
