How loud do you need to play? They like Marshall cabs and 15's a lot

15s all the way

for a 2*12, just look for something with a good construction that is a good deal. You'll flip the speakers and buy ones that suit your style better. There's very little chance of finding something you like if you're not into the vanilla G12T75, greenbacks, V30s and the like.

I would like to be able to play loud to be heard over a drummer with ease. And as for change stuff I would rather just buy and be done. I'm a pretty vanilla guy to be honest and generally don't know any thing about speakers. If this helps I play all single coil guitar and use a ton of fuzz. As for style it's whatever. Always a little dirty for the most part

I've used a 212 with greenbacks with my Bass Master. Works great.

Recently changed things up and now I use a 412 with 2 V30 and two original(it's a Gibson Lab series cab) speakers, might be JBLs, which sounds "rounder" than the V30s. Sound good together. :)

I was looking at orange cabs (played it thru my buddy's and it sounded good) but they are 16ohm. Is that an issue?

Orange cabs are solid. Get one, flip the stock speakers, get a couple of eminence or something to wire up for 8ohm. Break your drummer's earholes wide open.

i have the 90watt bass master (yba1a) and use an orange 4x12 with 2 warehouse reapers and 2 eminence private jacks in and am doubleplushappy. i imagine a 2x12 of anything similar would similarly please.

(have also used it with ampeg v4 cab with eminence cannabis rexes and it was similarly awesome... i think the lesson is just hefty cabs).

Is there any reason you can't find a Traynor cab? Few things are as cool as a Traynor stack.
