Nope.

Meatbox slays on bass, but tracks pretty terribly on guitar (if you had considered using it for that). It can't really track lower than a low E, and it's very sensitive to dynamics. Completely freaks out over complex harmonics, which is why I keep it after my fuzzes. Totes Armageddon, baby!

You don't really hear it as much as you feel it. It can suck the air out of the room in an instant. I absolutely love it.

The Density Hulk seems really clean while the Maatbox has sort of a distorted thing going on.

My bassist has the meatbox, our other guitarist has the hulk.

They are identical in frequency, but as far as I can tell, the hulk is noticeably louder and moves speakers a lot more aggressively. This isn't direct experience per se, since I've only seen them use them and never done so myself. Meatbox did seem a hair glitchier, but it may have something to do with bass driving it instead of guitar.

This might help, even if it's not the Meatbox RI

I'd love to do a comparison video myself some day. :snax:

The Manic has no clean blend though? Just a dry output? I'd rather just have a mix knob myself, but I guess it's cool if you're just planning on sending the subs to the front of house/a PA.
