if you're wanting a crazy fuzz and a feedback loop... why don't you just get a TBD or SP-AE?

Well I've never seen any really usable fuzz (on demos) on the TBD and nobody is selling their SP-AE.

CHK CHK BOOM is

Plus they seem great for the price point!

I'm thinking Memory Boy with CHK CHK BOOM would be a nice romance explosion. Cause you can control the speed with an EXP and use the feedback loop as momentary slam switch when needed.

OMG offtopic but what is the difference b/w the Memory Boy & the Memory Toy? they both seem to have the same amount of delay time right?

Memory Toy just has an extra control and a toggle switch pick from square wave to triangle wave.

Here's the first demo of them from NAMM:

yeah i watched that a couple days ago. or like yesterday or whatever. & i was like, "they both have 500 ms of delay?" i actually do NEED a short delay but i am looking for something cheaper, practical & used cuz it doesn't have to be special. something like $50 or less. preferably less...

Analog or digital? If your looking for digital the Behringer delays aren't half bad (well the DD 3 type one anyways) and usually if you look around on craigslist you can find some really cheap Boss delays. And if your looking for some analog delay you can usually find those old DOD fx90s on ebay for pretty cheap. There's also this thing :http://cgi.ebay.ca/New-Analog-Delay-Pedal_W0QQitemZ370154020916QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar_Accessories?hash=item562ee62034&_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116

What about the Artec SE-ADL? Someone said good things about them... uh... somewhere on ILF a few months ago. And they are cheap - they seem to average around $50.

Toggle for modulation wave control, extra depth knob, and expression input for time/modulation.

All for $98.00 makes it a pretty impressive package.

actually. it doesn't even matter. for a long time i thought i was actually going to get a MXR Carbon Copy but i really don't need that now; but yeah, i did narrow it down to the Behringer DD600, the DOD Analog Delay, an Arion one & i think the Ibanez soundtank one: you know, something cheaper than even an used Digitech Digidelay. right now i am using an old Stereo Home Component Reverb thing that has a really short echo. just need something a little less bulky--

so anyway back on topic. what are the merits of the Spectacular Anemia? it is something i wouldn't mind having further down the road.
