I guess this video is sparking some theories about what's next with Korg. :snax:

Has anyone heard any rumors?

They're supposed to do a product release tomorrow. So we'll definitely know very soon.

I think I saw something about a wave volca that kinda looked like a PPG recently? Was that real or phony?

Aw, what.
I was really hoping for something like the Polysix.
Oh, well. Monosynths are cool, I guess.

It's like they took all the things that should've been included in the minilogue, and, instead of realeasing a bigger synth with those added on, they released an uglier overpriced synth with only those features. $300 I'd rather buy a microbrute

I was hoping for some kind of Korg eurorack synth module, like the mother 32 or lifeforms but the cooler Korg version.

Damn dude.
May not be what you wanted but that's severe.

I own (and love) a microbrute.
This seems better (or at least quite different).

And Korg doesn't owe anybody anything when it comes to the Minilogue.
That thing was so cheap it was almost kind.

I've seen videos of people using the Volca FM with eurorack and I think I'm going to start doing the same thing. Thing sounds so good.

I prefer the features on this to the microbrute I think (having owned and loved a microbrute). Was hoping for something else though because I don't currently have any need for a monosynth... :(

Still, pretty cool for $300 I think :idk:

I don't know, man... this thing sounds pretty rude. Could end up hocking my Bass Station for one of these. The convenience of the sequencer buttons is a huge bonus, plus are those normal size keys? They look like it, or almost.

That thing looks and sounds cool. Not really into mono synths but if I were I'd be all over it.

Sequenced waveshaper (or any function) and snappy 1 shot lfo/envelope puts it way ahead of the micro/minibrute for me. Those are the kind of things I have always wanted in a small, cheap, mono synth. With clever programming over the four channels of control sequence, I think this thing can be versatile as heck.

Plus ring modulation.

Volca FM was awesomely fun when I played it....it's on my list too.
