I have a Dunlop High Gain volume pedal and its starting to get squeaky/hard to use. What is the best kind of lubricant to use on the pot?

I had this same problem with the treadle on my POD - I used contact cleaner for it, and that did the trick. Not sure what brand, though - it was whatever my bandmate had in the studio at the time. 3M, maybe?

Well in the dunlop pedals they normally use some kind of paste and what i've found is that there is normally enough of it spread around inside to just spread some back onto the tracks lol, perhaps not perfect for the long term but still if it's there, why not!

lithium grease. Go to any bike shop for it. Basically anything that they use to grease up a bike chain will be fine on a volume or wah gear set up. It's a metal on metal friction set-up, so you have lots of options. Hell, even vaseline would work fine, it just won't last as long.
