Roland finally wised up and went with something a little smaller as an option that's actually got features that makes sense.

Stereo i/o, fx loop, the old 6.5" stereo speakers of the tiny one of yore.

Oooo this could be just the ticket. I've wanted a jc of some kind since playing one at ILFEU, this looks perfect for a home amp. I love stereo guitar sounds but it's always such a pain to set up, this would make it no bother!

Looks cute! But no vibrato?
Should have an external speaker out. :)

Yea, lack of vibrato makes me somewhat sad, but...I have a JC50 for that. :)

If I decide I need another amp, definitely on the list.

You're not going to use whatever gain they put in it, let's be real.

I've used the distortion on my JC50..once.

i used to use the gain on my 120 all the time  i know i'm in the minority there though. the lack of vibrato is the perplexing thing.

Guess it's a casualty of modernization.

I was already planning on grabbing a VB2 or CH2 waza for the vibrato though, there are times I want the vibe on my other amps!

6.5" is probably too short on the low end. Stumbled upon the official demo last night and definitely lacked on that front. Looks cool though!

If it's like the old small JC, don't underestimate it.

Won't go doom, but...with two of them and Roland not generally cheaping out on drivers...

I know, just like MonkeyDancer I'm hung up on smaller JCs now that I've played a 77 in Oslo which is IIRC two 10" speakers. Rocked my world, I thought the glorious JC sound could only be achieved with the 120 I had tried a fell in love with.

Speakers are getting pretty freaking impressive on these small amps. Not sure if it will let you have too much fun with your VI though.

i kinda would have preferred 2x8", considering that's kind of a sweet spot for monitor and PA speakers and there's no reason you wouldn't be able to get decent low end unless they're shit speakers, but 2x6.5" at 30w is probably decent.

I want this. Need an amp for studio use, and I can't see anything Being more appropriate than this, since I record in stereo mostly. Of course, the one thing is the lack of extension cab capabilities... Oh well, line out works

Bass response from the little speakers is definitely an important thing for me that might swing me to the slightly larger models. Will have to try one out some time...
