got this Douglas (Rondo Music) 27" bari delivered yesterday:

quality is shockingly good for a sub-$200 guitar. the only QC issue i noticed were some stray plastic shavings still attached to the nut. hardware & pickups are better than i expected (it's pretty certain that i will change at least the bridge pickup, though...just because that's what i do...). plays & sounds great!

Happy NGD!
Baritones are awesome!
Throw a cool pickup in the bridge and add a bigsby and you got weird badass baritone superstrat. :D

Gonna go BLK TRI again? I want all BLK TRI all the time hah.

P90h neck, Fury middle, and a Torch in the bridge. It would be like 3 guitars in one. Dunno anything about phase or polarity issues though. Might be a thing.

But that's also the price of the guitar just in replacement pickups

i was thinking maybe a Crone in the bridge. not sure. gonna live with it a bit & see if i can intuit what the guitar wants. :D

Hecka curious about an ongoing review on this. Looks great! I've been debating getting one, or just leaving my sg tuned down to B.

Cool. I've been eyeing those for a bit. Especially since I switched playing hands and they make lefty ones. I've been wondering about the quality. Interested to see how it works for you.

so far so good, but i've only had the chance to play around a bit on it. this weekend, i'll dive into restringing & getting it set up how i want it.

i'm enjoying the stock pickups (much to my surprise!).

Looks like there might not be enough room for a Bigsby. :idk:

Body looks nice though.

Depending on how much the body curves I think I could have crammed a B5 in there. ;)

Nice! Baritones are rad and I want one. It boggles my mind that you can buy that for $200
