Thought that was a band name and thought it was great. But yes, that is one time where you could use it.

Just to add muddlement, actually it depends on the piano, if you are using a grand piano or a really good upright or a electric with a 3 pedal set up yes, but if it is a spinet or most uprights they work differently... so results may very

Nothing to add except that more synths need to recognize sostenuto (midi standard cc #66)
