love to mark the shortcuts on my Electribe's pads instead of using a cheat sheet all the time.

these buggerererers -

i have access to one of those label printers, but it's hard to find white on clear labels to print on, IMPOSSIBLE to find pink on clear.

any other good options for labeling the pads? without, of course, making them feel weird and ruining them?

If you have a sacrificial set you could look into laser etching, doubt it will get you colors though.

You could try custom vinyl stickers if you want to put some time and money into it. I've never used these guys but stuff on their website looks great. Maybe not so great on the rubber keys though. Best would be printing somehow with a durable ink, but how? idk.

interestinnnnnng. might try them. dunno if stickers will peel up though?

hurm. i mean. a permanent marker i guess? but would need a stencil to get it clean looking... my penmanship has always been iffy, worse since i only ever type on a 'puter any more.

PROBLEMS.

Stickers, get ones that are designed/approved for outdoor use. Will resist peel better than anything, to a point where it shouldn't be an issue assuming you apply properly to a clean surface.

Won't be cheap though, especially color.

I did a proper, well-done still from a movie for my Gibson 339 that was $25 when all was said and done - well worth it, but....this is going to be a get what you pay for hardcore.

Had folks do similar ones with clear backing and silver graphics for a couple other guitars, holding up zero issue (including just cleaning the entire guitar like they aren't there, no special whammy around it) four-five years later.

what about putting the labels/stickers above or below the pads and stuff. like on the enclosure itself.

ALSO an option! was thinking the pads because it is a TINY little box (giggety), and the spaces are also minuscule.

but that might be the best way. just wanted something cleaner looking than masking tape with my horrible scribbles.

Yea, you can cut up the print as well if you do it well, vinyl gives no fucks.
