Guitar Circuitry Permutations

Hello everyone,
I would quite like to experiment with some mods to the circuitry of my Fender Super-Sonic, which currently just has a volume pot for each pickup. I thought about maybe creating an out of phase option or a coil split for each humbucker. What would you recommend?
