Hey peeps. I was wondering if anyone has any hands on experience with any Blackhawk Amplifiers. I'm mostly interested in his Odin 120 model, which is offshoot of the Matamp GT120 and the Orange OR120. Let me know what you guys think! They look and sound pretty badass from what I've seen on youtube!

So I hadn't heard of this company before, but I saw one in action last week with WITTR. That sounded really good (whatever the model was), but the band sounds great anyway so it's hard to say one way or the other. Looked killer in person, too.

Would be really interested to see how the Odin stacks up to my OR120. Only have shitty earbuds at the moment so I can't really use Youtube to check out clips.

See this dude come up in Facebook threads all the time. I always have a hard time with YouTube demos. Pretty sweet WITTR are using them, would be pretty rad to catch it in person.

Definitely a small time builder, or so it seems. Might not get a ton of responses here since it is a smaller builder.

I've heard good and bad things, but most of that was, basically, hearsay or gossip.
Brooks always seemed pretty cool to me, though.

dude has a relationship with to some extent with alex from science amps. i'm 99% sure that's how he learned to build. based on a bunch of ig posts a couple years ago.

I gotta say, that Loki is very tempting. Would love to see how versatile it really is.

They all look really tempting. I've been talking alot with the builder Brooks, and he's a good shit. He really takes pride in his work and recently quit his job to build heads full-time.. he's just breaking out now basically. Stoked

After a couple of weeks with the Odin 20 I can easily say that this amp delivers on all of its promise. I am astounded daily by the amount of low end pumped out of these 2 EL84s.
For my needs it just works. Sounds like a Matamp to me. By nature it is dark and foggy, but with a crank of the presence it clears all of the haze. I would buy another model if I had the cash.

I got the Odin 120. Holy shit! This amp delivers death blow after death blow with every strike of my pick. Volume city. The tube drive sounds so fucken brutal you don't even need a fuzz pedal, the natural distortion is really that good.

I have his Valhalla fuzz and it's pretty awesome, tons of sounds and I'm really interested in that tube distortion pedal as well as his amps. I've seen YOB and High On Fire live with them and they sound pretty awesome in person and with a full band mix.

Ya man the Valhalla Fuzz is pretty hardcore sounding. It's huge. I bought it with the head and they are so mean. The Valhalla doesn't really seem to like any of my other pedals though. It's too boss mode to be on a board haha
