:hello: folks, could you please advise some cool bands without guitarists - just bass, synth and drums?

I'm gonna substitue keyboards in general for synths, and some of these aren't "rock bands" per se, but:

No Spill Blood
Brandt, Brauer, Frick
Mouse on the Keys
BADBADNOT GOOD (The new album is covered in sax as well, but their older stuff is primarily bass/drum/keys)

The requirement of no guitar, but bass and live drums + keys is difficult to meet. But you can start that band yourself.

These are some bands that have if not only synths, then a seamless blend/equality with the guitar:

SUICIDE
The KVB
MATH the Band
ADULT.
antarctica

less cool but still good: Mates of State, Slingshot Dakota, The Rentals, The Faint.

Vessels. They used to use guitars but changed up their style and now it's mostly synth and still awesome.

Oh, and maybe Hot Chip? A bit more on the hipstery pop side of things, but they have some sweet jams.

Hmmm, no bass, but add n to (x) sprang to mind for some reason.
Albums worth listening to are avant hard and add insult to injury.

Live drums and analog synths innit. If you like electronic noise check out the earlier stuff too. later stuff is garbage.

^^ forgot about add n to (x). Saw them in the late 90s early 2000s and it physically hurt to be in that room.

Death From Above 1979 and Royal Blood - Both bands are duos, just bass, drums, vocals and the occasional synth riff in DFA

what track(s) have DFA used synth(s) on? (aside from the remixes)
