"Pop Pop Fizz Fizz" and "Sexually Dyslexic." I deleted the last thread because I got plenty of suggestions on how to make the songs sound better to my ears, and since those mp3's weren't final anyways. I like the recordings more now, and I hope everyone else does to. I'm still sticking with my "less is more" theory.

Anywho, I shall now start on two more songs, I'll probably use a blue box on one to please the low-end hungry people.

Let me know if you like the songs. :poke: :)

Sexually Dislexic sounds a lot like some Nirvana song whose name I can't remember.

I liked the premise of "Pop Pop Fizz Fizz," but "Sexually Dyslexic" sounded too much like clipping for my tastes. I liked the lo-fi tinniness of the recordings. What were the mics and the DAW?

I didn't care for the vocals on Sexually Dyslexic that much.
I like the song just don't like that style of vocals.

I kind of think they are overdone.

Ok I'll shut up because you 'have enough fuzz pedals to blow my head off'.

I hear where you're coming from MM. It's a very split song among those who lsiten to it, some love it and some can't get into it. Sometimes even I can't vibe with it, but other times it suits me perfectly. :idk:

Guitar is recorded with a Peavey PVi2 microphone.... and so were the vocals. We used a different mic for drums.... I don't know what it was though. And I have no clue what a DAW is.

DAW = Digital Audio Workstation. In other words, what you used to get all the tracks synchronized, edited, and whatnot (Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase, Mackie, etc).

A combo of Cakewalk Music Creator 4 and Audacity. I had Adobe Audition which would've been preference but it wasn't working right that day. :( However its working now, so hopefully the guitar tracks in the next two songs will sound at least a wee bit better.
