Off topic posts, always welcome in my threads! They are only a means to beginning a conversation, wherever that may go haha

Thus far I've just been loading cassettes with 4 tracks and swelling and pitching them with one of my 4 tracks, this definitely seems to open up some new avenues- but for $285 I'm not sure I'm feeling it. Definitely cool as hell though.

Just realized this thread got double posted and in the other one the Video embed worked.....WTF haha

i remember this!

OK, so i took a 1 second sample (from about 0:16 to 0:17ish) of a note and put it in the op-1, and made it legato and made some shit up.

so with a really, really small sample this is what is sounds like when i play it having the op-1 play it faster/slower (you can hear it clicking when replaying it, i didn't mess with it much. i did all of this + upload it inside of 5 minutes, so it's not in any way a comprehensive test).

This sounds nice. When I get it, I will post a video so you can see what I was talking about in the other thread.

I ask that you wait for my video before you make that decision.

Yeah it sends voltage to the tape player to make it faster or slower.

You can't afford not to get it, IMO.

Mine should be here tomorrow (or today if you are reading this tomorrow). I guess we will see if this thing sucks or don't.

Ok, so here is just a quick 1 minute clip. This is the first 5 minutes of me having this thing. The sample tapes I used were some random guitar playing I recorded awhile ago, and a Bavarian folk song tape.

There is some popping towards the end, I am not sure where that came from...if that was from this synth or a loose cable or something. Hopefully that was an anomaly and won't occur all the time.

I'll make some better clips when I have a moment, but it seems to be pretty sweet so far if you like weird stuff.
