Hexe Revolver DX

It worked! They said I was mad, dammit, but it worked!
I mean, er, I finally got one... although they did say I was mad for doing that. This pedal is the absolute shit. Still haven't worked out how to use it in the set or written any new songs yet... but it makes me feel powerful, dude.
(here's a demo of me mucking around with it, if you're into that)

Anybody else got one?

This is why I ended up selling/trading mine. Great fun, not so great of a tool (for me).

Same here. Trying to figure out how to use it properly in context of a song. It has a lot of capabilities but I am finding that I have to pre-plan the mode and settings for any specific use, while I am used to looping and manipulating on the fly with a DL4 (or 3). I love the Ping Pong mode though, and might just leave it there for most of the time. Lots of fun in Random Auto mode resampling another loop from a DL4. Still on the fence about keeping it though. I wanted a looping device like this for so long but now it is here and it feels like maybe the ship has sailed a bit on those ideas.

I use mine often as an automatic trem picking pedal where I can resample the next note in a progression on the fly. It makes things super easy that would otherwise be nearly impossible to play and doesn't just sound like you're making a demo of the pedal.

I've used my DT a lot for parallel pad kinda things, drone notes, sampling a frequency to set the carrier for a ring mod (the sample is the carrier and I can kinda change the shift on the fly and create rising and falling pitch effects drifting away from my original signal), to trigger other effects as a tap in repeat boost/cut (like triggering a delay or changing the dynamic on an autowah), and kind of a fill while changing stuff.
What whoismarykelly suggests is good too.

I wonder when mine will be ready.
If I had the money I'd be all over it. Hahahaha

You can also use it like a glitch delay, or even a normal one shot delay or reverse delay. With the tone knob you can get it to sit really nice in the mix and it sounds great for less complicated leads.

I've found doing the ping-pong rapid (trem picking style) retrigger is in a few songs now actually. It's a cool effect, and especially now there's a bass in my band it means I have the freedom to go off-script a bit...

I used a Revolver in at least 12 songs on my new album (that's being mastered). There's even a few with 2 revolvers.

revolver II: none
revolver DT: little bit.

Crackle? No crackle on any of them moving the Tone knob.
