Sell DL4 and Boss PS-3 for Nemesis Delay?

Just saw a demo of the Source Audio Nemesis Delay and I wants one! I was thinking while I love the PS-3, I only use mode 7, which is very similar to the helix mode of the nemesis. The nemesis can do DL4 without the looping, but I have a ditto x2 so the DL4 is just to add some special things to the loops. I am expanding my setup for a joyo plx live anyways so being able to control the nemesis delay with midi is a plus. Should I sell my DL4 and PS-3?

He would keep the PS-3 so he could play ISIS riffs.

Well it sounds like you want to give it a shot and you wont know if you're into it until you try a Nemisis. If you cant try one out first, I say go for it. The DL4 and PS3 aren't super rare so getting them back agaib shouldn't be terribly difficult, maybe a bit longer for the PS3 :idk:

What's Jesus' favorite ISIS riff?

I haven't owned a DL4 or a PS-3 before, but the Nemesis is amazing and I truly believe that everyone should try it. But you've got to mess around in the Neuro app. It's super easy to use, deep and highly addictive. :snax:

Also you could just buy a Nemisis new from a dealer with a good return policy, then sell the other two afterwards if you like it. If you have the capital/discipline for that situation.

Note the delicious PS-3/RV-3 on the bass during the quiet bits.

Also, try the dual detune mode on the PS3. Better than any chorus...

Yeah the PS-3 has a bunch of awesome stuff. Well, I guess I'm going to keep the PS-3, buy the nemesis, and sell the DL4. Its already my 6th one, but won't be too bad if I can just pick up more "broken" DL4s.

When everybody has iPhone 7s with no freaking headphone jacks how are Nemesis owners supposed to connect to the Neuro app?

Youp, or just plug it into your computer via USB.

He has a point. I did not think of that. What a pain in the ass. If only Source Audio could have done bluetooth, but they said it would have cost a lot more. The adapter that comes with the Nemesis doesn't do a lightening port, so you'd have to buy an additional adapter. Or plug it into your pc. Also the plug that comes with it is short as fuck, so using a pc if it's on your board isn't really feasible. I think it's a huge pain anyway using that stupid cord because I have to be on the floor to adjust parameters.

Now it's amazing and you could simply set the pedal up before putting it on your board after purchasing the adapter. You can get one for 9 bucks, so it's not that big of a deal, but still annoying.

I've owned the Nemesis twice. My issues with it is that it overpowers all my other pedals regardless of where it is in my chain. Out of the box, it's entirely too loud and drowns out anything I feed into it. I'm sure you can adjust the parameters to make this better, but it annoys me.

Other than that, it's amazingly innovative. The ONLY thing is lacks is a looper which all these computer like delays have. It can do so damn much though that it's quirks really are worth dealing with. I regret selling mine both times. LOL! I'm just not that into messing with pedals like that though. It's mostly laziness on my part.

On the neuro settings page there's a alternate mix knob toggle that would've fix your issue. :idk:

But the nemesis is seriously my favorite delay (yes, even with my No Memory included), it's a perfect medium between endless tweakability and the ability to quickly change settings live, coupled with a super lively, dynamic and versatile sound that made me fall in love with guitar again. :joy:
