I keep hearing really good things about Disaster Area things but I'm still skeptical about non-soldered.

Does hot shit mean TGP popular or ILF popular? We all seem to love different things. TGP folks want to blow their wad with George L and Lava, which I think suck big salty balls and ILF folks vary more than anyone else. Half of use like to use whatever is there and cheap, the other half is super particular.
Currently I love EBS. I've had the least amount of failures ever with them. The only other ones I've had that had zero failures were the ones I bought at a local music shop, which I think they make. They are a slightly larger footprint though and harder to work with.
If you're not going to EVER move shit. George L's are good in sound quality, I won't deny that. If you switch things out there on the regs like a lot of us, they suck ass though and fail left and right.
EBS are cheap and durable. I've broken a few by accident, but have not had any issues simply moving things, and I do it quite often.
There still is not a perfect one though. I'm waiting...

I'm big on the Lava Tightropes, but want to try the Disaster Area stuff. I've had a lot less trouble with solderless than others, though. :/

Fuck.
Solderless.
PT-pro plus one cable with an intermittent connection is not fun.
Also when you get decent at it soldering your own is not much slower than solderless.
EBS 4 LIFE though.

I got 'em from this place:

Pretty sure they ship to the Great White North.
(FWIW, I'm still interested in those Warwick cables.)
