So apparently on Sept 9th Roland is going to hold a 24 hour stream on their website with performances and debuting a ton of products. I'm definitely curious what is going to go on.

I really liked their Aira series, so, I'm definitely excited to see what they come out with!

I really want an expanded Monotribe/MS-10.

I'm hoping for a bigger expansion into Euro (various oscillators, the Jupiter 8 filter PLEASE) or some better foray into cheaper synths because lets be honest those boutiques were missing way too many useful features and that keyboard to buy with them was a joke.

Well that's sort of what I mean. The Monotribe was $250 new and it had a superior option to a keyboard (Ribbon controller best controller). That's like half the price of the Minilogue... and I know they have the Volcas but those are decidedly sparse on the features (particularly the connectivity ones, I believe)

There has been some speculation/talk on r/synthesizers about a sampler that will use Roland's ACB to emulate various classic samplers.

I don't even know what i want. The boutiques were like two or three features away from being amazing at their price point. Or, less amazing, but like, there was no reason why it had to take a year for MIDI CC to be implemented, or that they had to be 4 voices. That's sort of been the main take away with the last bunch of years or Roland, like, the level of power that digital technology has reached, so many of their machines can be capable of so much more than they let them do.

There's also more baseless speculation about boutique reissues of the 303/808/909, which seems weird, but Roland has been doing some weird teasing on the internet so who knows. More weird effects and drum machines and synths is always fun though.

They're supposed to be updating the software for the modular effects again, so hopefully there will be some good new submodules (this could possibly be one of the new categories). I have no idea what to expect as far as actual euro modules, but another row would definitely be interesting.

I'm fine just seeing the headlines on music blogs than watching the stream.

Not that an accordian through fuzz doesn't sound amazing. I was once in a cover band with a guy who liked to run his accordian through fuzzzzzzzz.
