Hey guys, I'm building a one off guitar and I wanted it to feature a single pickup that reflects my heavy style. But I want to go all out and get the SLUG. Does anyone else have experience with this pickup at all?

Had to Google the Slug and damn 48k resistance! Never seen so much output on a pickup

Ya crazy output is right! Well crazy resistance I should say. I'm putting it in as the only pickup in a custom one of destroyer type guitar. Haha it's going to destroy.

Never tried the Slug. The only PU I've tried that almost come close is the Kent Armstrong Motherbucker, which has 27.5k resistance. But I didn't like that one. Was just too much.
But the Motherbucker is to buckers making one superbucker(4 single coils!) so the Slug might be different.
Have you considered a EGC humbucker? They're quite heavy.

Still have them on Reverb.
