Anyone get one of these yet?

I have one on the way but I wanted to start a discussion with anyone else interested in it. Seems too good to be true, really...

http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2016/ ... oser-look/

-8ins, 10 outs
-32-bit floating point audio with up to a 96kHz sampling rate
-midi controller or standalone mixer
-audio interface

I use a Saffire Pro 40 in my studio now, it's wired into my patch bay and preamps, but it's such a pain to take anywhere if I want to record out of my apartment (like drums).
This thing is so tiny and gives me basically everything the pro 40 is currently giving me... Definitely going to do an A/B with the two as audio interfaces and see what happens.

We talked a little bit about this in the modular thread. Consensus was that it's fucking awesome, but you can only use the editor interface in OSX which is a dealbreaker (for me and others)

I second the interface being OSX only being a dealbreaker for me as well. A beauitful, $600 saving dealbreaker.

I'm really interested in its potential as a line mixer with multiple outputs rigged as stereo aux sends for crazy series and/or parallel effects routing, with programmable levels, routing, and mutes. Not any more expensive than any of the really specialist rack geek stuff of that sort, but more capable and flexible it would seem. Mac OS only is a stopper for me. By the time I could swing the dough for one I would hope they can go Win or even Linux with the editor.

I slept on this, looks super rad, and not prohibitively expensive here in AUS like most things end up being. Awesome.

ooooooooo. HAWT. i like KMI stuff a lot.

...... i'm such a git i'm probably fine with a tiny Behringer mixer. just enough to get multiple hardware dingly doos into a one input source like a cheap USB audio interface?

...... so i'm a bit confused though. does the K-Mix show up as separate inputs in the computer? like can you record 3 different synths at the same time and have separate audio files?

or would one need to plug this into a multi input audio interface?

I always thought this was just another midi controller, might have mixed it up with another KMI product.

But this looks super rad!
I've been thinking about getting an audio interface with 8 inputs, but also more outputs, for sending sound to different amps/speakers.

And I can use it without a computer as well? Just as a mixer?
That would be super handy!
