I just got home after a totally craptastic day to find... a gift certificate for $50 at Musician's Friend in my mailbox!

Turns out it was a thank-you from a friend & former co-worker who I helped score a job - really nice of him, and it couldn't have come on a better day.

So now I need to figure out what I can snag with this... it probably wouldn't cover an entire purchase, but I've got some ideas. Still, I was wondering what my fellow ILFers thought. Any bargains out there I should be aware of?

But frreals, I am considering a Bit - obviously the gift certificate won't cover the whole thing, but come on - it essentially boils down to a $45 artifact. Not a bad deal AT ALL...

I've been considering the Hype for a while, but I fear that I may have maxxed out my current load of fuzz-fuzzes, if that makes any sense.

I would make a $95 Devi pedal into a $45 pedal. That's what I would do. (pssssst: Karaoke Party)

Or find something in the "scratch and dent" bin for $50-$60 and get it basically for free!

thankfully they are produced on par with the rate of people awakening to the absence of hype-ness in they lives and not wasting a moment more to purchase one
