LG has a great story for every subject that comes up. I would like to introduce a thread where we throw out subjects in order to get him to tell stories...or find a topic that will stump him. Up to you.

LG may or may not participate in this thread. We will see. He (or anyone else, I guess) is free to post their story, however tangentially related. It must--at some point--feature a reference to the topic at hand.

When I was a drug addict living with four other druggies, I woke up one night after a night of heavy drinking and substance abuse having to take a crap real bad. Time was of the essence, to put it mildly. We we're out of toilet paper, but we had hot dog buns, so I used a few of those.

LG, can you tell us a story involving Fieldy, from Korn?

I was sitting in my studio (it was behind this record store) and I was talking to the owner. This tall lanky dude came in with this girl. He was dressed in an almost bell-bottom adidas track suit and a beanie (it's like 100 degrees in Bakersfield). The owner Jake is like, "What's up _____*? Why aren't you in Japan with Korn?"

"They ran out of cheese on the airplane, so I flew home." There is a long pause until he looks at the audience around the cash register. "I only eat three things: cheese sandwiches, quesadillas, and pizza."

"Shit," I said to myself, "that's all I fucking eat." It was like I found my long lost brother.

There was some small talk. Dude was pretty nice overall. Before he left, he asked, "Hey Jake, you sold any Fieldy's Dreams? Those are signed.. so badass".

"All of Fieldy's records are still here."

"Who the hell was that? And why does he eat the same as me, Jake?" I asked after dude left.

"That's Korn's bass tech. He's kinda weird, but Fieldy and him have been friends since they were kids so he keeps him on the payroll as a bass tech. He always has that problem on tour."

Fieldy came in periodically to check on his sales (or sent some one to check for him).Those copies of Fieldy's Dreams sat there forever and probably until the store closed forever. Jake didn't buy them from his distributer. They were on consignment.

LG is the ILF equivalent of the most interesting man in the world. Waiting for his memoirs...this thread is the next best thing.

Does anyone remember that TB mega thread where a former magazine writer spilled all the crazy stuff he'd seen tut he couldn't publish? His rock'n'roll tell-all? He turned it into a book deal.
