Not cool to clone a curcuit thats in production by a small time guy....especially since his procebis totally reasonable.

yeah I didn't think it was DIY either but I asked to see if the manufacturer is selling kits or has sold kits in the past. you might know something I don't.

Doug selflessly posted the schem up online so there's DIY info about.....you could buy yourself a few parts and a soldering iron and learn yourself one.

I don't think it's too bad as a first build, it actually was mine. I'm not sure I learned all that much though, since it's such a specific application of a specific chip. Except maybe that LDRs and LEDs are fun together.
