so basically...oak is heavy, and not that great to finish, but that wasnt the point. i wanted something that looked like it had been rescued from a fire. hence the blow torch treatment.
after lots of chambering. its decent weight, and the reverse headstock just balances it off perfectly.
after setting up and ...it plays great!
