Tom/DigiRep has been talking about this in development for a while:

Said at that other forum (with at least one unappreciative blues lawyer so far) that it's Fuzzrite-ish.
Tom or pd care to spill any beans?

It is based upon the Maestro FZ1-S but we changed a lot. I had an idea of how I wanted it to sound and ~pd made it happen. Actually, I had an idea of how I wanted it to sound and ~pd made it sound way different than that, but still ultra cool.

The AFTER (bias) control has a very dramatic effect on the character, and it can go from fuzzy overdrive (that cleans up with the guitar volume) to full on splatted-out Super Fuzz/Fuzzrite territory. The HI-CUT is going to throw some folks off, since your main operating range is about the first 1/3, most folks will spend their entire time there. But once you get into the super saggy, splatty ranges with the AFTER (bias) control, the upper portion of the HI-CUT comes in handy to get your attack back if you want it. The toggle goes from flat (HALI) to bass boost (DEMHE).
My favorite setting on a clean channel is with BEFORE (gain) set around 3:00, the AFTER (bias) set around 10:30-11:00 (just as it barely starts to sag), the Hi-Cut set to 9:00, and the LEVEL at 11:00-11:30 and the toggle set to DEMHE. For pairing with a dirty channel I dig the toggle in HALI position, BEFORE set to 11:00, AFTER (bias) set to zero, HI-CUT set to noon, and the LEVEL at noon.
Some really weird horny, bit-crushy stuff is possible with the bias @ 1:00 or higher and the HI-CUT in the 1:00-3:00 range.
It is way, way, fun and I think something very unexpected from us.

The Fuzz in Yellow
Oh, so, this's the FZ-1S based circuit? Nice. Sounds fabulous!

Yeppers! I first tried an FZ1-s about 4 years ago at Chicago Music Exchange and I've been wanting to make a fuzz based upon it ever since (well, the good sounding mode that is!). I finally got it to happen!

Is the hi-cut a high pass filter?

And here's my inevitable contribution: how's it sound on bass?

I'm pretty sure it is a passive low-pass filter, ~pd can clarify if he wants.

High-cut is actually the opposite of a high pass. A high cut cuts the high end. A high pass, cuts the low end, allowing the high end to pass through.
This thing sounds super cool.

Seconded. At this point in my life kinda tryna narrow it down to one fuzz to rule them all, and i like the art, if that is indeed the art!

Does it stack well/deal with a pretty hot signal going into it? Some stuff like this can get too splattery for me to use in my rig but I really liked the sounds in that demo a lot.

Yes, the bias (AFTER) control is what makes it work. Just dial it down the hotter the signal you have going in. I've been using the Carcosa with the Boneshaker in front to goose it into more saturation and it has been responding really well.
I've been considering getting/making a flipper so I can use the Boneshaker before and after, lots of great options down that path. Plus there's this black and yellow thing happening too...

Right right, my head was thinking it but my hands did not abide. Although, a high pass for extra bees...
So when's it coming out
